Which paper this guide covers

This is the Policía Nacional Inspector Jefe promotion 25 paper in Cognik’s archive, an internal-promotion paper rather than an entrance test for new police officers. The booklet does not state its year, and we have not verified one. The number 25 identifies the promotion; it does not mean 2025.

This guide analyses the reviewed edition in Cognik. Its source is an unofficial reproduction. Counts and timings describe that copy and do not predict a later exam.

How many questions and parts are there?

The reviewed edition has one part, 40 numbered questions and 18 minutes. Each item has five choices, a–e. Some choices are aggregate answers such as none of the offered results; read what each choice says rather than assuming all five are individual values.

Which question types appear?

We grouped each question by its main task and counted it once. This is an editorial classification for planning practice, not an official syllabus or a breakdown of marks. The question numbers let you check each group in the archived edition.

Word tasks are the largest group in this classification: 13 of 40 items, or 32.5%. The 11 calculation-and-number items include four number series and two letter-value calculations. We keep the four letter or alphanumeric series separate, so the table totals 40 without counting a question twice.

The chart summarises 40 classified questions. The task types and exact question numbers are in the table.

How long does each part last?

18 minutes is 1,080 seconds. Dividing by 40 gives an average of 27 seconds per question, including reading and choosing. It does not mean that each item should receive exactly 27 seconds.

The four figure-series questions are separated through the paper rather than one continuous block. Codes, words and numbers also alternate. A rehearsal that changes task type is therefore closer to this edition’s workload than 40 consecutive questions of one familiar type.

What to practise from this paper

Choose practice that rehearses both the component skills and the change from one task to another. The distribution describes this paper only; it is not evidence that the same mix will appear in a future promotion.

  1. Alternate a short verbal task with a code or calculation. Check whether you lost time finding the method or carrying it out.
  2. For figures, track movement, orientation, shape and fill independently. For letter values, write the mapping before evaluating the expression.
  3. Attempt the archive with its own timer, then review slow correct answers as well as errors. Repeat the skill with new inputs rather than repeatedly testing memory of the same paper.

An original practice example

This original example follows the app’s letter-value family, used by questions 4 and 16 of the archived edition. Here the stated rule increases the value by 1 at each successive alphabet letter.

Scores and answer-key cautions

Our review confirmed the 40 keys printed in this reproduced booklet; no key was changed. That is a statement about our reviewed edition, not independent confirmation of an official final answer key or of the absence of historical annulments.

We have not verified this promotion’s exam year, historical scoring rule or pass threshold. Cognik therefore shows this paper’s results without an estimated official pass mark. Neither its five choices nor its similarity to another archived test establishes the missing rules.

Sources and current exam information

Question counts, timings and the distribution above refer to the reproduced booklet and our review. The official candidate portal is linked for current information; it does not establish this paper’s missing year or historical marking rules. For a new promotion, use the notice and instructions for that specific process.
